Saddleback, Reinvent Put 'Protector' in Place
Any small children in the room? Good. Because I’m going to be using a whole lot of the “F” word. That’s right, fraud. In telecom, it’s a front of mind matter, and as such telecom firms to taking steps to protect networks – more importantly, customers as well. The cost of fraud goes far further than a report.
Saddleback Communications and Reinvent Telecom selected and deployed the Protector FMS to protect their Metaswitch network. The Equinox solution will enable the ITSP and white-label cloud UC provider with the peace of mind.
“From the initial sales process through the startup training, Equinox has been a great business partner for this fraud management project,” explained Jose Crespo, Director - Network Planning for Saddleback. “The protection offered by Equinox’s fraud management system helps ensure Saddleback’s and Reinvent’s abilities to continue providing world-class solutions to our customers and partners while increasing customer satisfaction.”
Protector is somewhat of a popular solution due to the real time monitoring, escalated alerts, investigation tools and more it provides. It even offers an automated shut down feature, when fraud rears its head. The Metaswich network is under trusted eyes, promising mitigated risk and protection from the high cost associated with fraud.
“Protector’s fraud management abilities have been put to the test by hundreds of telecom companies who want to reduce risk and mitigate loss associated with telecom fraud,” said David West, Executive Vice President of Equinox Information Systems (News - Alert). “Equinox is thrilled to partner with Saddleback Communications and Reinvent Telecom on this project and confident that they also will benefit from the proven protection offered by the automated Protector system.”
Fraud is unfortunately a reality in today’s world, so security is something not to be taken lightly. What fraud protection matters does your firm have in place?
