WhiteLabel to Leverage BNCVoice Solution
WhiteLabel Communications of Exton, Pennsylvania, has struck an agreement with BNCVoice that will enable it to deliver the company’s secure VoIP offerings to its reseller partners.
BNCVoice is a hosted VoIP service provider. It delivers services over its network, which the company says is geo-redundant, provides high uptime, and ensures security through the use of the ZRTP cryptographic key-agreement protocol.
WhiteLabel Communications provides global hosted PBX (News - Alert), SIP trunking, and fax solutions to the reseller community. That community includes interconnects, IT, managed service provider, and telecom companies. And WhiteLabel makes it possible for them to more easily bring services to market and sell them under their own brands.
In the announcement about its new relationship with WhiteLabel Communications, BNCVoice CEO Thomas Jacobs emphasizes that security is an important part of what his company delivers. Although he says there’s a lot of talk about and work to secure data networks, he suggests there’s much less focus on securing voice networks.
He adds that in addition to the current BNCVoice product portfolio, the company in the near future will roll out SD-WAN services. The company, he says, wants to make SD-WAN more affordable for small and medium professional services companies.
SD-WAN creates an overlay of the wide area network that separates the physical infrastructure from how packets are routed. That enables SD-WAN to provide users with total control of connectivity between their locations so they can match that connectivity to their specific applications at any time.
“2017 is going to be a really big year for this space,” comments Nick Lippis, co-chairman and co-founder of the Open Networking User Group, which helped define SD-WAN and is playing a key role in moving this network architecture forward.
International Data Corp. forecasts that SD-WAN revenue will start to ramp strongly in 2016 and 2017 across a range of vertical markets. Gartner (News - Alert) predicts that up to 30 percent of users will be managing their WAN through software within three years. And IDC estimates that worldwide SD-WAN revenues will exceed $6 billion in 2020, with a compound annual growth rate of more than 90 percent between 2015 and 2020.
