IDT Telecom Relaunches IDT Express Portal
IDT Telecom (News - Alert), which offers wholesale VoIP services, has reportedly relaunched its IDT Express portal. This online resource enables companies of all sizes to run their own voice termination businesses as they see fit.
The company did not provide answers to the questions TMC provided Wednesday seeking more details on the relaunch. But a Capacity Media story notes that the relaunch happened at the recent International Telecoms Week event, and that the portal enables users to change destinations, IPs, payment methods, and termination quality with a few simple clicks.
The portal also provides access to anti-hacking features and reports, including call detail records and real-time traffic profiles. And it gives users access to what IDT Telecom says are market leading rates.
“Our IDT Express customers can now really maximize their voice termination and DIDs business by leveraging the global buying power of IDT, which carry 28 billion minutes annually,” Nick Ford (News - Alert), president of IDT carrier services, said, as reported by Capacity Media. “We have seen a sharp uptake of DIDs since launch, and we continue to deliver features to our portal, which ensures our customers can get the most out of wholesale voice.”
IDT Corp. (News - Alert) provides retail communications, payment and money transfer services primarily under its Boss Revolution brand, and cloud-based telecommunications services to businesses through its Net2Phone effort. IDT’s wholesale telecommunications business supports international long-distance voice calls.
The company in March reported its second quarter fiscal year 2017 financials. At that time, IDT Corp. CEO Shmuel Jonas commented: “We made good progress in the second quarter building, deploying, and scaling up the applications that will drive our growth going forward. We introduced the BOSS Revolution (News - Alert) Money app including our flagship international money transfer service and released a major update of the BOSS Revolution calling app including messaging and free peer-to-peer calling.”
He added that IDT’s National Retail Solutions and net2phone (News - Alert) UCaaS businesses “are posting excellent results.” NRS has increased the number of bodegas and retailers operating its POS terminals 10-fold over the past year, he said, while net2phone quadrupled its customer base during the same period.
