Chat With Nat
Welcome back to another VoIP Innovations Chat with Nat! It’s been a great week in the office and we have tons of things to share with you; one in particular is something that is sure to rock the entire Wholesale VoIP industry. That something is the Hosted Billing System that we having coming soon!
The Hosted Billing System will be launched in the next few weeks and is a platform that will be completely integrated with our BackOffice! All existing VoIP Innovations (News - Alert) clients, as well as non-VoIP Innovations clients, can utilize our billing system. This solution will provide the ability for resellers to seamlessly bill their clients, regardless of whom they purchase their VoIP services from, and we aren’t done there. To add to this innovative idea, we decided to integrate a complete taxation solution as well. This inexpensive add-on will allow resellers to properly rate and tax each invoice. There’s nothing better than that in the Wholesale VoIP industry! We’ll be getting more details out next week about our new Hosted Billing Platform, so stay tuned!
Something else worth mentioning in this week’s Chat with Nat is that we’ve been working on getting some new Sansay ROME servers up and running. These servers will greatly increase the capacity for call volume at VoIP Innovations. It will also give us additional redundancy by allowing us to build a completely isolated Disaster Recovery Site. This is something that our engineers have been working on for months and it’s great to see it all finally starting to come together!
Aside from major company announcements like the Hosted Billing System or the new ROME servers, we have a few awesome blog posts coming your way next week. The first will be on VoIP Security and it was written by one of our Technical Services Representatives, Justin Cornish. VoIP Fraud is something that can happen to anyone at any time. Here’s a quick excerpt from Justin’s article that sums up his entire message, “History has proven that proactive solutions trump all else at every turn. In an industry where every second matters, waiting or putting things off for later simply isn’t acceptable.” You’re not going to want to miss this helpful article!
Next week on the VoIP Innovations blog, we’ll also be featuring an article on how VoIP is proving to be beneficial for online education. The drop-off rate of online students is currently very high, but by utilizing all that VoIP has to offer, the value of those online course increases greatly. That just about sums up this week’s Chat with Nat. We hope everyone has a great weekend and gets a free doughnut to celebrate National Doughnut Day today!
