Chat With Nat

Welcome back to another weekly Chat with Nat, where I fill you in on all the great things happening around the VoIP Innovations (News - Alert) office. It’s been a pretty calm week here since we’ve had a few people, including our President and Lead Systems Engineer, attending the Gazelles Fortune Leadership Summit in Orlando, FL. I talked a little about this last week and said they’ll be listening to speakers and learning all kinds of useful information to make our organization grow. I’ll fill you in next week with more details about their trip.

I’d also like to announce that we’re working on enhancing our BackOffice security features. There is nothing more important to us than making sure our customer’s information is protected. We’ve posted many articles that feature tips on how to secure your account, including one called Basic PBX Security Precautions: How Not to get Hacked in 60 seconds. We’ll have more details on the enhanced security features coming soon! (You might want to subscribe to our blog, just so you don’t miss the post.)

Now for some exciting news! I’d like to give a huge shout-out to everyone in the VoIP Innovations Porting Department because they’ve been meeting and exceeding their department goals for the last three months. They’ve also been doing a phenomenal job with their porting times. Since the beginning of the year, their average porting time was only 11 days. While individual porting times may vary, that’s pretty fantastic! Keep up the great work, everyone.

While I’m talking about the Porting Department, did you know that we’re still offering our free porting deal? It went over amazingly well and was very successful, so we decided to keep that promotion running a little longer. Please remember that the free porting deal is only available in select tiers. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to one of our helpful VoIP Innovations Porting Representatives at porting@voipinnovations.com.

I’m sure you are all well aware that Memorial Day is coming up soon. One thing that we’ll be doing next Friday to celebrate the holiday will be to spend half of the day at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. We’ve gone there for a few years now and it’s always such a rewarding experience to be able to volunteer and help them prepare for their Memorial Day ceremonies. I’d also like to make all VoIP Innovations customers aware that our Porting Department will be closed for Memorial Day on Monday, May 26th. The Support Department will be responding to emergencies with a limited staff from 10:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. (EDT). If you’re experiencing an emergency, please email support@voipinnovations.com or open a ticket through your BackOffice account.

Unfortunately, we need to end this week’s Chat with Nat on a somber note: Our beloved Pittsburgh Penguins ended the series with a 2-1 loss against the New York Rangers on Tuesday night. While it was a sad night in Pittsburgh, watching the Buckle Up Baby cheer his little heart out will always bring a smile to our faces. See you next season, Pens!

Thanks for checking in for another VoIP Innovations Chat with Nat, and have a fantastic weekend!
