VoIP Innovations Releases another Round of Titanium III BackOffice Features for 2013
As the VoIP industry continues to grow and set records, more entrepreneurs and competition are entering the market. Therefore, it’s now easier than ever to become a telecommunications provider, which means many operators are going through a telecommunications learning curve.
VoIP Innovations (News - Alert) has recognized this market trend and has built a unique BackOffice (Titanium III) providing aggregation, automation, and reporting. The focus of our service is to provide ITSP’s and resellers the coverage, tools and automation they need to more efficiently manage their business. Recently, VoIP Innovations released yet another set of Titanium III BackOffice features, but where and how do they decide what the market wants?
VoIP Innovations gets the majority of its BackOffice improvements from its customer base of over 1,200 ITSPs and resellers. “Through our BackOffice, any of our customers can submit a feature request or provide feedback to our team. We review, prioritize, and develop features according to the overall impact it will have on all our customers.
We listen very closely to the market needs and try to satisfy them. In late 2012, VoIP Innovations released a few new features enhancing an already robust BackOffice. They added in/out bound fax services, the ability to move DIDs in bulk from one endpoint to another endpoint, the ability to export DID history and the ability to expedite LNP (local number port) orders – all features that were requested from our customers.
“One thing that holds true is that customers are never short of ideas,” explained Nick Medina, VP of Product development. Medina continued, “We keep a list of requested features and make it a point to build the features that customers need to succeed.”
VoIP Innovations has started off 2013 with a bang by releasing a new set of Titanium III features in January. These features will be available just in time for the 2013 ITEXPO (News - Alert) Miami, being held January 29-February 1 in Miami, Florida. The big ticket items for this release are the API 3.0 and E911 Alert notification system. The API 3.0 offers additional features and is easier than ever to install.
VoIP Innovations also developed a testing sandbox and added new features such as fax services, E911 alerts and SMS capabilities, which will be available shortly. The second big ticket item is its E911 alert notification system. At no additional cost, any DID registered to the VoIP Innovations E911 service will have the ability to configure E911 alert notifications. Dialing 911 from a registered number will activate the E911 alert notification system, sending e-mail and text to specified contacts.
Also in this release, VoIP Innovations added some smaller but very powerful tools, ultimately providing customers more visibility into their account. Customers now have the ability to look up termination rates using the “Rate Lookup” tool. Simply specify an NPA (News - Alert)/NXX and instantly know the cost of a route.
Customers can also view total origination minutes, termination minutes and costs on a per DID basis. “Our customers can now see the usage and costs consumed by each of their DIDs and can determine which end users provide the best profit margins,” explained Corey Potts, VP of Sales.
But VoIP Innovations didn’t stop there. The company further added the ability for customers to store multiple credit cards on file, eliminating the problems associated with expired cards or credit limit issues.
Approaching its customers as partners has allowed VoIP Innovations to keep a finger on the pulse of the wholesale VoIP market. Listening to current demand and having the ability to foresee latent demand has truly made VoIP Innovations a real player in this arena.
