Wholesale VoIP Company Alcazar Networks to Offer Low-Cost Local Termination Option
Nationwide wholesale VoIP provider Alcazar Networks has some news it is eager to spread: finally, there is a low-cost local termination option for VoIP calls, thanks to Alcazar Networks.
Alcazar Networks has expanded its resume of services to now include wholesale local termination (outbound), an offering that promises to provider carriers with substantial cost savings as customers can terminate calls locally at roughly 50 percent of standard intrastate charges. Traffic may be originated anywhere, then handed to Alcazar Networks over a SIP handoff (dedicated facility or public Internet).
Alcazar Networks first began product testing about six months ago and is now excited about spreading the word about its latest offering.
“We continue to leverage our network, and partners to make sure every product to the customer benefits their bottom line in these markets,” Alcazar Networks’ President Gavin Grabias told TMCnet in a recent interview. “We currently are only terminating to Verizon (News - Alert) endpoints, however this will expand as our team is done analyzing the impact of terminating to other carriers in the area.”
Over the past few months Alcazar Networks has started offering Local Termination to allow a low price entry for intrastate traffic within our network. And, most recently, the wholesale VoIP provider announced its plans to expand its dialer termination footprint to cover 100 percent of Canada which includes over 26,400 routes. These Canada routes are in addition to the wholesale VoIP company’s full US48 dialer termination deck which currently has over 140,800 routes.
“We've been working on expanding our dialer termination footprint for the past few months, and I'm happy to say it's finally here!," John Chisca, vice president of Alcazar Networks, told TMCnet at the time. "The demand for US48 and Canada dialer traffic has been overwhelming. Making Canada available for our dialer termination customers has allowed them to not only save but to use one company, rather then having a second termination carrier providing their routes"
Alcazar Networks provides reliable and fully-redundant, carrier-grade termination on one of the industry's most extensive voice networks. Its outbound service, which currently supports G.711 and G.729 codecs, allows customers to take full advantage of the best available call quality, according to company officials. Alcazar Networks' cutting edge solutions enable enhanced IP service providers to offer long distance VoIP access to residential and commercial customers.
