Wholesale VoIP leader VoIP Innovations (News - Alert), a Pittsburgh-based company, recently introduced a new tiered, domestic origination product. To help distinguish VoIP Innovations as the industry’s leading domestic provider of wholesale origination, the wholesale VoIP company will pair its tiered origination product with its new online Local Number Portability (LNP) tool. Customers can choose from five separate domestic tiers, with each tier comprised of multiple providers covering more than 7,500 rate centers across the continental United States, according to company officials.“With this new tiered product, we’re offering our customers unparalleled control over where and how they purchase our origination services,” said VoIP Innovations Product Manager Jason Tapolci in a statement.

“With this complete LNP tool, the goal is to make everything easier for our customers,” added Tapolci. “Our users will be able to request number ports online in minutes without the hassle of paper documentation.”

VoIP Innovation customers can enjoy newfound flexibility to control and manage their price structure as they will be able to purchase DIDs by tier. Moreover, each DID can be customized with or without value-added features like Caller ID and T.38 fax termination. The unique LNP tool will streamline all of VoIP Innovations’ number porting and allow for online Letter of Authorization (LOA) submission with secure eSignature capabilities, according to company officials.

Customers will be able to port numbers to all five tiers without the “hassles of scanning a hard copy and dealing with rejected LOAs due to incomplete information or improper format,” they added. The LNP tool also offers real-time tier availability and estimated portability confirmation, as well as instant updates throughout the porting process.

In other wholesale VoIP news, Alcazar Networks, a nationwide wholesale VoIP provider, can list more than just wholesale origination, wholesale termination, toll free termination, T.38 services and e911 (News - Alert) services on its resume; it can also add dialer friendly wholesale termination.

“In the competitive international call center outsourcing market and wholesale VoIP termination services, challenges such as call quality, rates and service availability issues are pushing call centers and service providers to the limit,” John Chisca, vice president of Alcazar Networks, told TMCnet in a recent interview. “Alcazar Networks Inc. offers a solution – otherwise very rarely available – to help you firmly stand your business grounds without compromising on call quality with a local support desk, when you need it, to ensure high service availability on premium routes with the best price and quality ratio.”

“We service a wide variety of call centers and contact centers, all of which expect the highest levels of uptime, reliability and customer service,” he added. “We take great pride in our ability to deliver consistent results in this demanding environment.”
