C3 Buys SFDA Service Provider Division
Cloud Computing Concepts has closed its acquisition of the service provider division of the South Florida Digital Alliance. The deal will enable C3 (News - Alert) to expand its product portfolio and will allow SFDA to focus on “expanding access to technology and increasing digital literacy throughout the greater South Florida community,” said Don Slesnick III, executive director of the non-profit organization.
The SFDA assets have been providing co-location, connectivity, and internet access services to cities, commercial customers, non-profits, and schools and universities in south Florida for about 19 years. C3 has been managing those assets since this January.
C3 outfits businesses of all sizes across the U.S. with technology and communications services. Its offerings include cloud-based solutions, onsite and remote support, mobility, and business continuity solutions.
Speaking of South Florida, TMC (News - Alert) will be holding a series of events in Fort Lauderdale early next year. This supershow will include ITEXPO, which will be celebrating its twentieth year, and various other existing events, as well as a few new events focused on the benefits, challenges, and uses of artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions.
The New Intelligence, AIOps Expo, The Adaptive & Intent-Based Network Expo, and The Future of Work Expo will all make their debut Jan. 30-Feb. 1 next year at the Greater Ft. Lauderdale/Broward Country Convention Center.
As I mentioned recently in this Q&A with TMC CEO Rich Tehrani (News - Alert): “These [new] events will provide information and analysis on communications and networking solutions that leverage artificial intelligence, machine learning, natural language processing, and related technologies. They will explain how that can help businesses and communications service providers drive new revenue, become more efficient, and produce better results for themselves and their customers.
“It’s still early days for AI and ML, but many solutions based on these technologies are here today. Such solutions can help businesses be far more productive and customer-centric, and assist communications service providers and other network operators to better address cybersecurity challenges, data and video traffic growth, quality control and resource utilization, time to market, and more.”Asterisk (News - Alert) World, The Blockchain Event, CVx ChannelVision Expo, MSP Expo, and the SD-WAN Expo will be returning again next year.
