Komutel's SIT2 IP Console Release 2.5.4 Achieves Avaya Compliance
Technology partnerships allow companies to integrate the products and services they create to provide more options for their customers while increasing their market share. Komutel, a developer of unified communication solutions, has announced it passed the compliance testing by Avaya for its SIT2 IP Console Release 2.5.4, which makes it compatible with Avaya (News - Alert) Aura Session Manager 7.0 and Avaya Aura Communication Manager 7.0.
Komutel is a technology partner with Avaya, and this relationship makes it eligible to submit new products and services for compliance testing by the Avaya Solution Interoperability and Test Lab. Avaya says its team of engineers have developed a testing platform for each submitted application to verify its compatibility with Avaya products. The tests are essential because they don't want customers to have a negative experience with their existing products and infrastructures when the new applications are deployed.

The SIT2 Console solution improves customer service quality and reduces the overall call handling time of attendants by integrating with corporate directories and other databases so the end user will have the latest information. The console can access directory lookups, e-mail, SMS, call history, cell phones, pagers, documents, team member availability, staff and patient location, emergency procedures, security cameras and more.

As organizations increase their connectivity with more branches, databases, devices, applications and services, making the data readily available from all of these connections is extremely important. The SIT 2 PC Console logs SQL database (Date, time, CLID, call duration, call treatment, hold time, extensions, etc.) with detailed record activity. This information can be used to improve staff efficiency, meet regulatory compliances and keep accurate records.
