Alianza Announced New Cloud Voice Platform Customers
The company’s Cloud Voice Platform will be powering their new VoIP phone services. This Alianza offering is offered as a software-as-a-service solution. It makes it easy for users to deploy and manage VoIP services for those that have not done it before.
The customers include Craighead Electric, Click1, and South Central Connect.
Click1 is a 48-year-old cable operator. It delivers services in Humboldt, Tenn. And it’s now deploying fiber to serve business and residential customers.
Craighead Electric has a new subsidiary called emPower that will offer broadband, telephone, and ultra-HD TV services in the Craighead territory in northeast Arkansas.
Meanwhile the new ISP division of South Central Arkansas Electric Cooperative will wrap VoIP into its bundle. The South Central Connect bundle also includes high-speed internet and HDTV services for business and residential customers.
Adding VoIP services could help these fiber-based broadband internet service providers both grow new revenues and keep existing customers, Alianza suggests in a press release it recently issued. The company noted Federal Communications Commission data indicating U.S. VoIP subscriptions have grown 32 percent since 2013. And it referenced Leichtman Research Group research showing 64 percent of broadband households subscribe to a bundle of services.
“With Alianza’s cloud-based solution to VoIP, we offer a modern cloud voice service that is simple, strongly profitable and strengthens our market position,” said Click1 President John F. Warmath Jr. “The ease and speed of getting to market with Alianza is a huge benefit. And the full integration with our broadband and back-office system vendors creates an effortless operating environment.”
