Flowmon to Secure UK ISP Networks
There was a time when security meant putting a lock on a door. Today, the notion of security permeates every component of life. Our personal and business identities are consumed with passwords and verification processes. While the Internet is a transformative technology, it wields a double-edged sword, enabling an interconnected world, but nefarious deeds as well.
As the enterprise and Internet service providers push cyber security to the fore, European network monitoring and security solution provider Flowmon Networks announced an expanded footprint. The firm invested into its U.K. market presence, compiling a new business development team and signing with Beta Distribution to bring its product to Great Britain.
Flowmon provides flow-based network monitoring and behavior analysis employing machine learning to manage and secure network operations for Internet service providers and the enterprise.
"Based on current numbers, we are targeting a 500% year-to-year revenue growth in the UK. Because of this strong growth, we keep investing into local operations. We want to get Flowmon recognized as a preferred NPMD and behavior analytics technology also by users in the United Kingdom," says Frank Dupker, VP of Sales EMEA at Flowmon Networks.
The new business development team is tasked with elevating brand awareness and leveraging partnerships in the channel with firms like Axians, Infradata and Xantaro to build out the Flowmon network of customers. Key cogs of the new team include Business Development Manager Filip Cerny and Sales Engineer Stuart Smith.
Tony Howard, Enterprise Strategy and Operations Manager at Beta commented. "Signing a leading Cyber Security vendor means we can enable our resellers to deliver a solution to their clients that will manage their increasingly complex IT environment, ensuring the reliability, availability and security of their business is made easy within demanding environments."
Security is no laughing matter. From your VoIP deployment and fraudsters spoofing, to financial institutions and Fortune 500 firms there is no margin for error when it comes to security.
