IDT Details Express Portal Relaunch
We recently ran a short piece about IDT’s relaunch of its Express portal. Here are more details on that, based on a Q&A via email with the company.

Why was IDT Express portal relaunched? What’s new here?
IDT Express is an online portal where people can purchase international voice termination leveraging market-leading rates as well as manage IPs, choose termination quality, destinations, payment methods and much more, all in just a few simple clicks. We used ITW, as it’s a flagship carrier wholesale tradeshow, to re-launch the IDT Express brand and to introduce our new wholesale DID’s offer, now available to buy through the IDT Express portal.
Why did you do a relaunch?
From the brand standpoint, we needed to simplify how we were presenting IDT Express and concentrate on articulating clearly the value proposition to a wide global audience. The website is our international shop window, so we wanted to strengthen this online real estate and make it simple for the right customers to quickly get access to the right service.
We created a new logo, tagline, and look and feel, that will manifest itself in many applications, the website being the first one. We have also just launched a new advertising campaign to increase awareness and drive sales of IDT Express.
From a wholesale DIDs perspective, we surveyed our customer base to identify what improvements they would like to see over and above what we already offer (anti-fraud, real time traffic info, daily reporting, etc.), and they wanted to be able to purchase DIDs. Now customers can order and provision DIDs directly from the portal and choose from our extensive footprint of local and toll free numbers.
We have DIDs available in over 25 countries, all with market-leading rates. We also have a fully redundant secure private network that ensures maximum up-time and continuous service for all of our customers’ virtual numbers, with 24.7 support if needed.
Is there something new about the portal itself in its relaunched form?
Absolutely. As part of IDT’s ongoing commitment to deliver a portfolio of communications solutions, customers can now take advantage of managing their voice termination and virtual phone numbers with one shared account, all in one place.
Is there a cost to use the IDT Express portal?
No. Better still, potential customers can also try IDT Express with a free test account.
Who uses the portal?
Anyone who has a need to terminate international voice traffic and/or purchase wholesale DIDs. So [it] could be any organization, such as international carriers, enterprise, retail calling card providers, hosted PBX (News - Alert) companies, call centers, marketing agencies, etc.
