Telecom and Data Guru Blow Fresh Air into Arizona Businesses

Managed Office is CenturyLink’s (News - Alert) first managed services offering directed at small and medium-sized businesses, and the launch of its “Managed Office Hosted VoIP”  by Telecom and Data Guru in the Arizona market is being viewed as an entirely new approach to communications and IT.

CenturyLink Managed Hosted VoIP is a next-generation business VoIP solution that improves workforce productivity, helping businesses maximize the return on communication spend with all PBX (News - Alert) features and functionality, without the expense of an on-site PBX and minus the headaches of having to manage it.

"You no longer have to worry about any up-front capital expense, yearly licensing, and expensive maintenance calls with trip charges, or technology becoming outdated the day after you buy it,” said Keith Gill, founder of Telecom and Data Guru. “CenturyLink Managed Office Hosted VoIP is highly scalable, highly available and future-proofs you for one low cost monthly per seat fee."

Telecom and Data Guru is a private technology consulting firm and information hub that helps transform businesses into profit powerhouses through technology. Gill, a data, cloud, and telecom solutions expert, is regarded as a leader within the CenturyLink channel alliance partner company.

The CenturyLink Hosted VoIP online portal, built on the highly reliable BroadSoft (News - Alert) Broadworks platform, offers up robust calling features that will help employees be more productive, as they can turn any location into a remote office. It enables administrators to manage users, and employees to manage calling features through a simple Web interface.  It also gives users a reliable and secure calling environment.

The new CenturyLink Managed Office Hosted VoIP guarantees quality of service and has total control of the voice packets over the network.

According to Gill, the voice packets never traverse the public Internet and only go through CenturyLink’s state of the art MPLS core to guarantee QOS (quality of service) from end-point to end-point, up to the publically switched telephone network (PSTN).

The Hosted VoIP voice service, backed by solid service-level agreements, will be available immediately. As a result, businesses of any size in Arizona will now have a flexible solution that will be able to address customer needs from almost anywhere and will scale along with business growth.
