Welcome back to your Chat with Nat! It’s been a short week here at VoIP Innovations (News - Alert) due to the holidays, but that doesn’t mean we’ve stopped working hard over here and I’m sure you haven’t either. Before we get down to business, I want to mention that I hope everyone had fantastic holiday celebrations with their friends and family. Here’s just a little something from us to you…


Now it’s time for some business talk. Even though most of us were in and out of the office this week, we still made sure that we were getting some great content out on the blog. Take a look below at the articles we had for this week:

A Wholesale Shift to VoIP for Michigan – John Terra, a freelance writer, has written about a bill that will soon be hitting the doorstep of the Michigan House of Representatives. This bill could mean that telephone companies can start to phase out those old-fangled POTS (plain old telephone service) lines and start taking full advantage of what VoIP services have to offer.

Q&A With Nolan Rollo on the Benefits of Using VoIPmonitor – Nolan works as a VoIP Engineer at KW Corporation and he had the great idea to share VoIPmonitor with all of our readers and VoIP Innovations customers. VoIPmonitor analyzes the quality of VoIP calls so if there are issues, they can be resolved much quicker and more efficiently than if you were trying to use only your CDRs. This Q&A talks about some of the fantastic benefits that VoIPmonitor has for the user as well as the support team that is trying to troubleshoot the issue.

Harassing Calls: Part Two – Randy Stegner has recently been promoted to the Operations Manager that oversees our Support Department. He deals with customer issues daily and is focused on getting to the root of the issue and then getting it resolved. The VoIP industry has unfortunately opened the doors for scammers who are out to harass end users by calling about Payday loans or expired warranties that never existed. In Part One he explained how these harassing calls happen and in Part Two he shares what YOU can do to help stop it. This one is a great read and you have to check it out!
