Here we are again with another weekly Chat with Nat! I first want to say that our Annual Holiday Party last Friday was such a blast! We danced, listened to Christmas music, played Christmas Trivia and just had and overall great time. 

Now for the other exciting things we did this week. Since the end of the year is right around the corner, TMCnet.com wanted to do a Special Edition piece on the growth we’re expecting for 2014. It’s a great Q&A with our TMCnet.com Web Editor, Rory J. Thompson and our President, Jason Tapolci.


One of the great blog posts we published this week was an awesome Q&A between Software Advice employees Robert Bellovin, an Editorial Coordinator, and Craig Borowski, a Business Telephony Analyst. The two focused on relieving the hesitation that some people face when they’re trying to decide if they want to switch to a VoIP phone system. Losing service if there is an Internet outage is a terrifying thought, but the Q&A really cleared some things up!

The next post we had on the blog this week was a special piece that I wrote on what it’s like to work at VoIP Innovations. It’s getting close to my one year anniversary and it’s safe to say that I plan on staying here for many more anniversaries. VoIP Innovations (News - Alert) is such an amazing company to work for and I wanted to share that with the world, rather than my normal feature-related updates. Make sure to check it out if you want to learn more about a company that gives its employees so much more than just a silly old paycheck every month!

I do have some updates to share before I get into what’s coming next week. We have some promotions in our Support Department! The first is Randy Stegner, our Technical Services Manager. At our Holiday Party last Friday, Randy was the recipient of the Gerard F. Tapolci Award because he has shown his passion and dedication for the company and its mission and values. We’re proud to announce that he was promoted to the Operations Manager who will oversee the entire Support Department. Dustin Campbell will also be promoted as our new Technical Support Supervisor. Congratulations to both of you! We’re also happy to announce that Justin Cornish will be starting to do some work with our Engineers. Good luck with all of your new projects!

Now let’s talk about bit about what’s coming next week! ITEXPO (News - Alert) is coming up very quickly and we’re getting everything ready for it. This year we’ll be showcasing our BackOffice, Titanium III, and how its unique features are designed to save our customers time and give them complete account transparency. Look for a blog post with more information!

We also have another Q&A with one of our customers, Nolan Rollo from KW Corporation. A few weeks ago I talked to Nolan about a program he uses called VoIPmonitor. This program is designed to monitor VoIP calls so if an issue is detected, the troubleshooting process goes very smoothly.

The last post that we’ll have coming out next week is a Guest Post from our friends at Media Shower. The post will be cover how VoIP in Michigan is on the rise due to some new rules and regulations that are being put into place.

Last but not least we’d like to share an updated version of our holiday hours.
