Wholesale VoIP Feature Article
Chat with Nat
October is here already; where did September go? Well along with it being October, it’s Friday and that means it’s time for me to talk about what VoIP Innovations (News - Alert) has been up to all week.
VoIP Innovations University (VIU) was launched on Tuesday and since then we’ve added another VoIP Innovations touch to the individual courses. Remember that VIU is only available to our customers. It’s just another one of the unique features that they have access to in our BackOffice. VIU features our Press Releases, Training Videos, Wiki Articles and White Papers in one spot so our customers have the information they need, the moment they need it. If you want to read more about all VIU has to offer, check out this blog post from earlier in the week that announced the launch.
This week we also featured a great guest post called The Future of VoIP in Retail Businesses. This article mentioned that the “VoIP market is projected to reach $74.5 billion by 2015 for both residential and business users.” Wow. Sounds like there are going to be tons of great opportunities for people interested in VoIP. The guest post targeted retail businesses because of their phone systems, POS machines and localized phone number support; all things that VoIP can have an impact on. It’s a great article, so be sure to check it out!
This week we also announced that we’ll be partnering with Telestax, Inc. to start offering Restcomm for VoIP Innovations. Restcomm is a third-party application that offers rich IP telephony applications that can be hosted in the cloud. The fantastic thing about this is this is that while you get the awesome services, you’re not paying the premium price. It’s designed to attract Web developers, but anyone is free to check it out and see what the capabilities are.
While those are our highlights from the week, I also want to mention a webinar that I heard about from IPsmarx (News - Alert) Technology Inc. The webinar is on maximizing revenue during the peak VoIP traffic season. They picked this topic because VoIP providers see up to an 80 percent increase in VoIP usage during the holidays. Wouldn’t you want to know how to harness this knowledge and boost your revenue? If you’re someone who does, then you better sign up for the webinar! It’s on Wednesday, October 9 and will start at 2 p.m. EDT / 11 a.m. PDT and will last for about an hour. This is something you don’t want to miss!
Before I end this week’s Chat with Nat, I just have one last think to say . . . LET’S GO BUCS!!
