Chat With Nat
Hi everyone! I first want to address the reason why I didn’t get to post my Chat with Nat last week. I was creating a commercial for VoIP Innovations (News - Alert) that played at ITEXPO last week. When we began promoting ITEXPO a few months ago, I joined their social media team. Members of that team had to post updates and news relating to ITEXPO (News - Alert) and the member who had the most activity won the opportunity to have their commercial played before a keynote session at the show.
We were the winners of the contest so we needed to put together an awesome commercial that would be shared with the world. After all the planning and strategizing, we had come up with the perfect storyboard for the commercial and we were ready to film. We had a few minor bumps in the road, but we had finally turned out a finished product. Once we sent it over the folks at ITEXPO, I learned that our commercial would play all three days of the show! If you happened to catch it before one of the keynote sessions, what did you think of it? If you missed it, I made it really easy for you to watch it here!
We hope you had a chance to talk to “Those Guys in the Orange (News - Alert) Ties” but if you didn’t, send an email to email@example.com or visit our website to fill out and inquiry form! For pictures of us at ITEXPO visit our Facebook page! We’re looking forward to seeing everyone again in January for the Miami ITEXPO! Hey, it’s only 151 days away!
I need to mention some huge news that we received last week. We were named 13th overall in the Pittsburgh Business Times 100 Fastest Growing Companies and in the technology category, we ranked No.1! We’ve been working hard and it’s fantastic to see that hard work pay off! Follow these links to see photos from the event along with a video of Jason Tapolci, President of VoIP Innovations, who talks about the company’s success.
Not only did we receive that accolade, but we were also notified last week that we ranked 1207 in the Inc. 500/5000 Fastest Growing Company list. This is the second year in a row that VoIP Innovations has ranked on both the Pittsburgh Business Times and Inc. 500/5000 lists. Congratulations to everyone who has helped to make this happen. It’s pretty great to make these lists one time, but to make them two years in a row? That really says something about our company!
Now to catch up on what you may have missed last week and this week at VoIP Innovations! I first want to mention the two Guest Posts we’ve done: last week we posted one on the VoIP growth that is expected in India. It came from Kimberly Lang who loves to write about travel and emerging international tech trends.
The Guest Post we did this week was from a repeat blogger on our site. His post focused on troubleshooting packet delay in VoIP. He introduced the different types of packet delays, what users experience when a packet delay happens, and then lastly, how to troubleshoot latency problems that were caused by packet delay.
On Monday last week we announced a new partnership with Telinta. After we ran the necessary interoperability tests, it was determined that our companies were compatible and it ensured a more seamless solution for customers of both companies. This week we’ll be releasing more details on our partnership with Bicom Systems and Iwatsu (News - Alert).
Before I close out this blog post for the day, I want to mention the podcast I recently did with Suzanne Bowen who is a blogger for the TMCnet channel, Monetizing IP Communications. My podcast revolved around “Social Media Tips and Faux Pas” and I was really happy with how it turned out. I have a true passion for social media and communications, so I hope to do more podcasts like these in the future!
That’s all I have for you today! I hope you had a great weekend and enjoyed that extra day off!
