VoIP Innovations Knows What the Telecommunications Market Wants (and Needs)

January 10, 2013

By Allison Boccamazzo, Director of Brand Strategy

In the VoIP space, 2013 can be summed up in one word: growth. In actuality, it will experience exponential growth – to the point where it has become easier than ever to gain status as a telecommunications provider. These novice operators are caught up in what industry expert Jason Tapolci calls “a telecommunications learning curve.” However, while many are confused as to where to take the next step, Tapolci, president of the nation’s largest wholesale VoIP provider, VoIP Innovations (News - Alert), knows exactly what the market needs – as represented in the newest feature set of its esteemed Titanium III BackOffice platform.

VoIP Innovations is dedicated to its goal of strengthening its already high-quality, cost-efficient offerings for continued excellence. The company kick-started 2013 with a slew of new features for Titanium III. Titanium III enables VoIP Innovations to go above and beyond its service offerings to Internet telephony service providers (ITSPs), resellers and other service providers by adding unprecedented innovation, automation and transparency. Recently, the company revealed its all new Titanium III Private Label solution, which, unlike its traditional wholesale edition, comes without a switch – both offering users access to its proprietary BackOffice software.

But how do you know that these improvements are the real deal? With so many competitors in the space, it seems “willy nilly” to just go with anyone and call it a day. With VoIP Innovations, you know that the improvements made to its BackOffice are solid because its been crafted based on real suggestions from its loyal customer base of over 1,200 ITSPs and resellers.

VoIP Innovations listens, implements change and then you get to reap the results.

Late last year, the company released some new features to its already enhanced BackOffice, including in/out bound fax services, the ability to move DIDs in bulk from one endpoint to another endpoint, the ability to export DID history and the ability to expedite LNP (local number port) orders. The best part of it all? All of these features were directly requested from its customers.

“Through our BackOffice, any of our customers can submit a feature request or provide feedback to our team.  We review, prioritize, and develop features according to the overall impact it will have on all our customers,” Tapolci explains, “We listen very closely to the market needs and try to satisfy [them].”

Nick Medina, VP of Product Development at VoIP Innovations, added that “one thing that holds true is that customers are never short of ideas.”

Continuing this momentum, the most exciting features added to Titanium III this month include the API 3.0 and E911 Alert Notification system. The API 3.0 will offer users even more features and is easier than ever to install, and the E911 alert notification comes at no additional cost, allowing users whose DID is registered to the VoIP Innovations E911 service to configure E911 alert notifications. The company has also made it known that even more enhanced features related to fax, E911 alerts and SMS will be available shortly. Also in this release, the company added some smaller yet equally powerful tools for customers to gain enhanced visibility into their accounts.

Looking to get your hands on these new features or learn more? They’ll be ready just in time for the 2013 ITEXPO (News - Alert) Miami event, being held in Miami, Florida from January 29-February 1, where the company will be exhibiting at booth #507.
