VoIP Innovations Thriving as Wholesale VoIP Market Booms
The wholesale VoIP market is seriously expanding, and reflectively, competitive carriers continue to seek different and innovative ways to generate revenue and remain top-choice with best-of-breed technology and solutions. The hot topic on carrier’s minds throughout this is how to profitably deliver VoIP in the rapidly evolving wholesale market. Maybe they should take a hint from esteemed wholesale VoIP service provider, VoIP Innovations (News - Alert), who remains a heavy-hitter in the wholesale VoIP arena.
The proof of the explosive growth of wholesale VoIP can be seen in the multitude of top-notch companies becoming VoIP service providers. Additionally, looking at the current trend of VoIP telephony services and its future prospects, companies are increasingly looking to becoming wholesale VoIP providers and VoIP resellers.
“The main reason behind this is that VoIP technology and services are extremely flexible, making it suitable and profitable to be used by everyone,” this Street Directory article explains. “Looking at the vast clientele, it would be right to state that even with a number of wholesalers and resellers already in this field, there is a demand and need for more people to venture into this field.”
VoIP Innovations’ flagship product for example – Titanium III BackOffice platform – continues to do right by customers by simplifying and expanding users’ capabilities. By providing a host of tools for improving the delivery and management of customers’ communication services, users enjoy maximum flexibility and control, as Titanium III enables them to manage their wholesale VoIP account online at anytime – not to mention all of its services are conveniently packed into one easy-to-use menu.
Recently, the company rolled out a new and exclusive feature for Titanium III – Bulk Endpoint Group Change, which allows users to move multiple DIDs between Endpoints as opposed to one at a time.
To use this new feature, log into your BackOffice, click on “DIDs,” then “Bulk Endpoint Group Change,” and select the new Endpoint. From there, enter your search criteria (Local/Toll-Free Type, Number or Endpoint Group), then click submit. It’s really that simple, as instructed by this recent VoIP Innovations blog.
The company continues to expand its presence in the industry, having also attended last week’s ITEXPO (News - Alert) Austin 2012, which took place at the Austin Convention Center located in Austin, Texas, serving as the world’s largest technology and communications event of its kind.
At the event, TMC’s (News - Alert) Amanda Ciccatelli sat down with Corey Potts, VP of Sales, VoIP Innovations, where he exclusively detailed what the company is currently up to and what they’re planning in the near future.
Potts detailed that VoIP Innovations continues to expand its network and strive to have the largest footprint for origination in the industry, as well as reaching its goal to warehouse over 500,000 phone numbers. Additionally, when asked what sets the company apart from its competitors in the wholesale VoIP space, such things as “ease of use” incorporating month-to-month agreements and avoiding long-term contracts and complicated MSAs were at the top of the list.
“We make all services available to our customers, such as DIDs, origination, termination, toll-free, 911, and customers are able to pick and choose what they want to use with us,” Potts explained. “So we offer everything a-la-carte.”
VoIP Innovations attended ITEXPO this year to increase product and brand awareness, and the event’s expected 7,500 attendees definitely helped the company in its efforts. You can check out the entire interview below:
Speaking on ITEXPO, Potts said, “It’s a nice central meeting point to be able to see our customers, shake a hand and have a conversation. You really don’t get to do that too often.”
What are the company’s plans for the future? “We’re still just expanding the footprint and doing right by our customers; listening to our customers on their needs; enhancing our BackOffice; we have an API that customers can tie in to be able to order DIDs and update 911, just continually listening to our customers and enhancing our product.”
