ITP VoIP’s digital phone service has gone green, offering new paperless billing and virtual fax extension.

The VoIP service provider has started to promote the new paperless billing and virtual faxing service to business and residential callers interested in supporting eco-friendly endeavors.

Officials with ITP VoIP said that with Internet phone plans starting at under $10 per month, ITP VoIP – available online at– allows users to go green and save green at the same time.Company officials pointed out that ITP VoIP recently transitioned from traditional billing to paperless billing, a move designed to reduce the environmental impact of both the digital phone provider and its clients.

According to company officials, ITP digital phone service makes it easy for users to monitor and update their accounts online through an intuitive user interface.

Accessible from any computer with an Internet connection, the hosted PBX (News - Alert) (News - Alert) UI enables clients to customize ITP's roster of complimentary features like the new advanced call forwarding feature; view instant call records, with call recording available; and add and remove the digital phone provider's affordable premium add-ons on an a la carte basis. With hosted PBX virtual faxing, ITP users can send and receive faxes via email, allowing them to save on both paper and toner -- not to mention the cost of that old dedicated fax line. ITP virtual faxing includes 500 pages of free faxes every month, with support for up to three separate email addresses per account. With ITP, VoIP clients can go green and save money on virtual faxing while also saving themselves the hassle of dealing with an additional provider.Company officials said that providing eco-friendly functionality is but one objective for ITP digital phone service. The hosted PBX company is also dedicated to providing affordable, fully-featured Internet phone service to business and residential callers, offering over two dozen free features with every plan.

Popular features include Forward on Busy and Forward On No Internet, two complimentary services that allow incoming calls to ring to another number if the default line is busy or down among other such things.

In related industry news, nationwide wholesale VoIP provider Alcazar Networks is now offering direct on net/off net Canada termination routes at significant savings, building upon Alcazar’s decision last month to cover 100 percent of Canada which includes over 26,400 routes. These Canada routes are in addition to the wholesale VoIP company’s full US48 dialer termination deck which currently has over 140,800 routes.

The savings of Canadian routes are as much as 20 percent, according to John Chisca, vice president of Alcazar Networks.

“Until recent, Alcazar Networks only provided US48 termination but due to overwhelming requests, we have added direct suppliers to our termination offering,” Chisca told TMCnet. “Customers that were using multiple carriers will now have the ability to use Alcazar Networks for not only their US48 termination but also for their Canadian termination needs.  Keeping quality in the foreground, we are still able to offer our customers termination at a savings!”
