VoIP Company Unveils Str8dial Smartphone Application
iTeknik Holding Corporation, a developer of VoIP technology that is responsbile for wholesale oringaition and termination, announced the launch of Str8dial International smartphone application.
The launch of Str8dial also coincides with the company's plan to expand its multimedia marketing efforts in FY 2012, company officials said.
The Str8dial smartphone app allows smartphone users to call to or from any location in the world that has cell phone coverage.
“Str8dial is the product that is going to carry us into the world of smart phone applications,” said Jeffrey Lauzon, president of iTeknik Holding Corporation, in a statement. “It is the most advanced prepaid wireless and international calling portable available.”
With Str8dial, customers can originate calls from any other country as well, Lauzon added.
The company announced the launch of the product with an ad in Wireless Dealer Magazine (News - Alert) (WDM). iTeknik chose Wireless Dealer Magazine as its launch platform because it is the premier magazine to reach independent dealers and distributors.
According to Lauzon, iTeknik is the first company to offer such a service to independent retail resellers.
“Fiscal year 2012 started on July 1st, and we want to sustain the momentum we have created in FY2011,” said Fredrick Wicks, chairman and CEO of iTeknik Holding Corporation, in a statement. “Our planned marketing program includes increased advertisements in magazines, satellite television ads, ethnic billboards, and more participation in trade shows.”
iTeknik Holding Corporation is classified as "Current Information" and trades on the OTC Pink tier of the OTC market.
iTeknik, through its Send Global subsidiary, provides wholesale and retail telecommunications services, and products worldwide.
Recently iTeknik Holding Corporation announced that IDT Corporation, one of the largest tier-one carriers, has selected iTeknik Holding Corporation subsidiary Send Global Corporation to provide a testimonial for IDT's Web site.
